Santa At The Movies

by Carolyn Rosewood

When I was growing up waiting for movies like A Charlie Brown Christmas or Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer to be broadcast on network TV was a very big deal. How many of you remember the TV Guide when it was still in black and white? And then came the thick color one, where you could look up all the shows coming during the next month, what channel (like we had so many… NOT!) and what time. We waited and watched, and if something happened to make you miss the movie, it was gone for an entire year. That’s like a decade to a kid.

Salt water and sand tend to wash off anything one writes on one’s body at the beach.

Los Angeles Ballet

by Carolyn Rosewood

Good morning everyone! My name is Carolyn Rosewood and I’m a new contributor to Blame It On The Muse. I’m thrilled to be part of this talented group.

One of the things I look forward to every year is attending The Nutcracker ballet. When I lived in Cleveland Ohio, not only did I attend this holiday event, but for many years I had season tickets to the now-defunct Cleveland Ballet. I love the intricate moves and the graceful line of the dancers. The costumes and scenery amaze me. Read the rest of this entry »
