Whirlwind… a persistent, implacable Whirlwind. He had a red Mini Cooper S and a red-white-green Ducati 1099s Tricolore (crazy hot fast and fun Italian sport bike). From our first kiss until his death six weeks before our wedding, it was an entire life in six months.
I keep hearing I will have another love, and yet wonder and pity this future man, as my standard is now very, very high. He too will need to be persistent, and probably will come with a red zoom-zoom.

Here’s to Harold, and growing up to be Harold, hopefully sooner than 96.
I am blessed by a circle of Harolds that range from 35 to 67, each is playing a part in teaching me how to Live now that I no longer am able to work. There are also those Fictional Harolds, like St Just and Lizzie Bennett and Anne.

If you have fun with a person, really like each other, communicated well, and also have the romantic bits, you’ve got a good shot. Also the promise to ‘alway’s try’ is a good indicator.

I find those couples who met when they were babies or were highschool sweethearts so sweet. They have so much history and their relationship just gets stronger with time. I think for me, I’m more likely to go into a whirlwind relationship. When I fall, I fall hard and don’t fall often. It’s all about the instant chemistry. The good thing is both types of relationships so long as they have love and trust are bound to be good.

Ya want the romantic or the not so romantic first? DH said when he saw me in the restaurant where I was working the first time, his exact words to himself were, “Where did that ‘thing’ come from?” One month later we were dancing to a jukebox to some songs I sang in a club nearby, one of them “Could I have this dance” and he looked down at me and said, with surprise on his face, “Woman! I just about love you.” Lol, he took it back several times but this morning he gave me a card that said, “You Rock My World, I’m incredibly lucky to be the one who gets to love you.” So I guess Big T(testosterone) aside, he’s still a charmer.

Oh, I wonder “what if” all the time. I hadn’t seen or spoken to the bride for months before she’d asked me to be her maid of honor. I almost said no. And Dan had JUST been released from the Pirates the week before. He wasn’t supposed to be at the wedding.
